Job summary

HCA Florida University Hospital in Davie, FL is seeking a dedicated PACU Registered Nurse to support immediate post-operative care. You will manage airway support, monitor neurological and cardiac status, and respond to complications, while collaborating with the surgical and anesthesia teams.

This role includes on-call availability during select non-business hours and opportunities for mentorship, education assistance, and professional certification support within a large, nationwide network.

Qualifications

• Active RN license required.
• Associate Degree in Nursing required.
• 1 year PACU RN experience.
• ACLS/BLS/PALS within 30 days of start date.
• Must be able to meet on-call requirements.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality, patient-centered care in the post-operative PACU setting.
• Collaborate with surgical and anesthesia teams.
• Monitor patient status and respond promptly to complications.
• Educate patients and families about care and follow-up.
