Job summary

Medical University of South Carolina (MUHA) is seeking a Registered Nurse II for the PACU/Recovery unit. You will provide individualized, goal-directed patient care and collaborate with the health care team to achieve optimal outcomes.

The role requires an associate degree in nursing (bachelor’s preferred) and at least one year of RN experience. BLS and ACLS are required. Day shift, 40 hours per week, with a $18,000 sign-on bonus for qualifying new hires.

Minimum Training and Education

Associate degree in nursing. Bachelor’s degree preferred. At least one year of experience as a Registered Nurse.

Required Licensure, Certifications, Registrations

Licensure as a registered nurse by the South Carolina Board of Nursing or a compact state.

Current Basic Life Support (BLS)

required, either a certification from an American Heart Association (AHA) BLS for Healthcare Providers (or AHA recognized equivalent) or an American Red Cross CPR/AED for Professional Rescuer and Healthcare Provider. Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) is required.
