Job summary

The Medical University of South Carolina in Columbia, SC is seeking a Registered Nurse to deliver individualized, goal-directed patient care under general supervision. You will apply the nursing process to ensure safe and effective care and collaborate with the health care team.

The role requires an Associate degree in nursing (Bachelor’s preferred), SC or compact-state RN licensure, BLS and ACLS, and the position offers a $30,000 sign-on bonus for experienced hires.

Qualifications

Minimum Training and Education

Associate degree in nursing. Bachelor’s degree preferred.

Required Licensure, Certifications, Registrations

Licensure as a registered nurse by the South Carolina Board of Nursing or a compact state. Current Basic Life Support (BLS) required, either a certification from an American Heart Association (AHA) BLS for Healthcare Providers (or AHA recognized equivalent) or an American Red Cross CPR/AED for Professional Rescuer and Healthcare Provider. Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) is required.
