Qualifications

• RN license current in state or compact.
• BLS certification within facility policy timeframe.
• ACLS within facility policy timeframe.
• PALS within facility policy timeframe.
• NRP within facility policy timeframe.
• Prior clinical nursing experience in inpatient/outpatient settings preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct head-to-toe assessments pre- and post-procedure.
• Administer medications and IV fluids per patient condition.
• Educate patients on pain control techniques.
• Monitor cardiac rhythms and recognize arrhythmias.
• Support during outpatient procedures including GI and sedation-based care.
• Assist physicians and team with procedures and planning.
• Maintain aseptic technique and infection control standards.
• Document accurately in the EMR.
• Coordinate with patients and families for continuity of care.
• Participate in orientation and quality improvement initiatives.
