Huntsville Hospital in Huntsville, AL is seeking a Registered Nurse to identify patient needs and priorities for care through assessment, plan and delegate care based on those needs, and evaluate responses to care during the shift.

The ideal candidate is a graduate of an accredited nursing school with current Alabama or multi-state licensure, BLS, and additional certifications (ACLS, PALS, or NRP) relevant to critical care areas. New graduates are welcomed.

• BLS for Healthcare Providers must be obtained in the orientation period. ACLS, PALS, or NRP is required for critical care areas based on patient population.

The RN evaluates the patient’s response to care and the attainment of or progress toward expected outcomes. The RN is accountable for outcomes of patient care delivered during the assigned shift.

Qualifications

Education: Graduate of Accredited School Of Nursing

License, Certification and/or registration:

Current nursing Alabama or multi-state Licensure. BLS for Healthcare Providers must be obtained in the orientation period. ACLS, PALS, or NRP is required for critical care areas based on patient population.

Experience:

Experience preferred; new graduates accepted.
