Job summary

CEC Healthcare is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to join our outpatient primary care clinic in Bethpage, NY. The role provides direct clinical support to providers, performs nursing assessments, and manages patient triage in a fast-paced specialty primary care setting.

Ideal candidates hold a New York State RN license and at least 1 year of outpatient or physician office experience, with BLS and experience caring for patients with I/DD.

Qualifications

• Active New York State RN license required.
• Minimum 1 year RN experience, outpatient/physician office preferred.
• BLS certification required.
• Experience working with patients with I/DD is a plus.
• Knowledge of outpatient clinic workflows.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive nursing assessments for outpatient primary care patients.
• Provide patient triage and respond to clinical inquiries.
• Assist providers with patient care and clinical procedures.
• Educate patients on medications, treatment plans, and preventive care.
• Coordinate care with medical and behavioral health professionals.
• Document patient care in the EMR system.
• Maintain compliance with clinical policies and healthcare regulations.
