Job Description

This role acts as a leader in the provision of patient care using the nursing process within the framework of the Nurse Practice Act, ANA Code for Nurses, and Scope & Standards of Practice. Responsibilities include delegating, directing, and assisting licensed and ancillary team members; ensuring quality patient outcomes; demonstrating cultural sensitivity; and supporting the department’s strategic goals.

Work Schedule

Monday - Friday 6:30AM - 3:00PM. Call required.

Compensation

Up to $30,000 Sign-On Bonus.

Education Requirements
  • Required: Registered nurse diploma.
  • Preferred: Associate or bachelor's degree in nursing.
Work Experience
  • Required: None.
Certifications
  • Required: Current RN license in state of practice.
  • Required: BLS certification from the American Heart Association.
  • Preferred: Certification in a clinical specialty area.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Strong organizational and detail-oriented skills.
  • Good time management and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Interpersonal, leadership, and delegation skills with good judgment.
  • Proficiency in computer and web-based applications.
Job Duties
  • Use the nursing process effectively in patient care.
  • Assess learning needs and implement appropriate teaching strategies.
  • Communicate, delegate, and manage nursing team resources.

  • Perform other duties as required.
