Qualifications

• BSN preferred; minimum ASN degree required.
• Current NJ RN License required.
• Current American Heart Association CPR/BLS and ACLS/PALS required.

Responsibilities

• The OR RN provides comprehensive patient care throughout the perioperative process, ensuring patient safety and comfort during procedures, preparing the operating room, handling surgical equipment, and collaborating with the surgical team.
• Scrubbing in and circulating across OR specialty areas; participating in complex surgeries with advanced technology; advocating for patients undergoing anesthesia or sedation; maintaining professional nursing practice standards in perioperative care.
