With 2 floors and 164 beds, we provide care for long-term care residents and post-acute rehab patients. Nurse-patient ratios vary depending on the shift and patient population. The unit includes long-term care and rehab units, with designated areas focusing on general rehab, neuro rehab, traumatic brain injuries, and cancer. Our mission is to deliver goal-oriented, compassionate care to promote living a healthy and active life.
Located on a 10-acre campus, our spaces are designed to enhance independence, strength, and confidence. We feature indoor and outdoor areas, including two main courtyards. Most patient rooms are private, equipped with attached bathrooms, TVs, phones, and large windows. Each unit offers spacious living and dining areas, with menu-based meals provided.
Provides nursing care responsibly, following ANA standards and Michigan law. Demonstrates competency through the nursing process: assessment, diagnosis, outcomes, planning, implementation, and evaluation. Upholds professional standards, including ethical practice, communication, collaboration, leadership, education, evidence-based practice, and resource utilization.
Under the supervision of RNs or physicians, contributes to patient assessment, planning, and care. Communicates treatment details to patients and families, documents care accurately, and collaborates with team members.
