POSITION SUMMARY: Each RN/LPN enhances the living experience for Tabitha’s Seniors/clients by performing various prescribed medical treatments and personal care services under the direction of the physician, supporting the medical plan of care and meeting the written comprehensive care plan objectives, while functioning within the appropriate scope of practice. This TEAMember contributes to the physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual well-being of elders/clients through respectful, professional, competent, and personable interaction. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
COMMUNICATION: Must be able to speak, read, write, and understand the English language including medical terminology. Sufficient fluency to understand and follow written and verbal instructions, provide instruction to others, and interact successfully with elders/clients/caregivers.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Ability to safely perform the duties of the job while utilizing standard and specialized equipment. Physical stamina to perform duties while moving about the work area for the entire shift. Strength and agility to frequently lift, push, pull, and manipulate various supplies and equipment.
AGE REQUIREMENT: At least age 18.
EDUCATION: Successful completion of a Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse course of study. High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
EXPERIENCE: 6 months experience as an RN or LPN preferred.
CREDENTIALS: RN or LPN License in good standing as recorded on the Nebraska State Registry or other Nurse Compact state required. CPR required. License and CPR Certification must be kept up to date at the employee's expense. Must meet Tabitha's vaccination requirements.
