Position: Nurse in Belleville, IL

We are seeking nurses for a 16-year-old patient with G-tube and Bipap needs. Flexible scheduling options are available, including weekdays, weekends, and part-time day shifts. Compensation ranges from $28 to $36 per hour, depending on case specifics and experience.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Provide care within your licensure and scope of practice.
  2. Maintain accurate, up-to-date clinical records for each patient, meeting all documentation deadlines.
  3. Evaluate and report on the effectiveness of nursing care to patients and families.
  4. Consult with physicians regarding care plan modifications and document changes accordingly.
  5. Mentor new staff during patient-specific orientations.
  6. Educate patients and caregivers on care topics.
  7. Participate in Quality Assurance and Performance Improvement programs.
  8. Continuously improve nursing skills through training and self-education.
  9. Complete all mandatory training and documentation promptly.
  10. Adhere to compliance, ethics, and confidentiality standards.
  11. Maintain professional and supportive communication skills.
  12. Perform additional duties as assigned.
Role Qualifications
Education & Experience
  • Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) with an active license in the state of employment or recognized multi-state license.
  • Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience.
  • Valid driver’s license and proof of insurance (note: in some states, driving patients is prohibited).
  • Clear background screening.
  • Knowledge of Nurse Practice Acts.
  • Current CPR certification with in-person skills check.
  • Clear Hep B and TB screenings as per state requirements.

Additional Details

Work is performed in patients’ homes, with minimal environmental hazards. Ability to lift up to 35 pounds and use office equipment is required.
