FT 7a-7p on Skilled Nursing Memory Care Unit

Must be able to work 7a-7p on a two-week rotating schedule: Mon/Tues/Fri/Sat - Sun/Wed/Thurs

Job Summary - RN

The Registered Nurse provides professional nursing services in accordance with physicians’ orders or plan of care. Responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care for assigned patients/residents, supporting the Village mission and values.

Job Summary - LPN

The LPN performs direct resident/patient care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse, including assessments, following the care plan, and evaluating responses to treatment, aligned with the Village mission and values.

Essential Functions - RN
  • Assess patient conditions, process physician’s orders, provide treatments, and administer drugs.
  • Coordinate nursing care and educate patients/residents and families.
  • Delegate appropriate care tasks to staff, monitor, and evaluate care delivery.
  • Document patient progress and communicate changes to staff.
Essential Functions - LPN
  • Provide direct care based on a specific plan, including medication dispensing, vital checks, wound care, and personal care.
  • Report changes and needs to RN and management.
  • Complete documentation accurately and timely.
  • Delegate tasks and perform environmental services if needed.
Working Environment
  • Indoor environment with exposure to infectious diseases and individuals with mental health challenges.
  • Must be able to drive between locations and possibly have on-call duties.
Requirements
RN Qualifications
  • Associate's degree in Nursing (ADN).
  • RN license from Missouri or Kansas.
  • Current BLS certification or ability to obtain.
  • Valid driver’s license.
  • Minimum 12 hours of annual training.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office and ability to manage multiple tasks.
LPN Qualifications
  • Completion of an accredited Nursing program.
  • LPN license from Missouri.
  • Current BLS certification or ability to obtain.
  • Valid driver’s license.
  • Minimum 12 hours of annual training.
  • Basic computer skills and ability to interpret documents and communicate effectively.
