10/12 Start date, Day shift, 40hrs, M-F with 2 Weekend/Holiday/Call and Float per department guidelines
Responsibilities
Provide safe, efficient anesthesia and intraoperative nursing care for OR patients.
Monitor patient status, administer medications, and manage sterile technique during procedures.
Maintain accurate perioperative documentation, including vitals, medications, and case progress.
Uphold strict adherence to safety protocols, infection control, and regulatory standards.
Collaborate with surgeons and anesthesiologists to optimize surgical workflows.
Proactively identify process improvements to enhance efficiency and patient outcomes.
Participate in preoperative assessments and ensure readiness of equipment and supplies.
Engage in performance metrics, track activity, and contribute to pipeline-based planning.
Assist in post-anesthesia care, ensuring smooth transition and patient stabilization.
Demonstrate ongoing learning and professional development to support growth and merit-based advancement.
Mentor or support teammates to achieve individual and team targets within the unit.
Ensure on-site compliance with contract terms and location-specific requirements.
Experience/Qualifications
Valid RN license with current perioperative nursing certification.
Recent OR experience as an RN, with intraoperative nursing responsibilities.
Proficiency in anesthesia support, medications, and intraoperative monitoring.
Strong knowledge of sterile technique and infection control standards.
Ability to document perioperative data accurately and promptly.
Capability to collaborate with surgeons and anesthesiologists to optimize workflows.
Proactive participation in preoperative assessments and equipment readiness.
Demonstrated commitment to safety, regulatory compliance, and contract terms.
Data-driven mindset; track performance metrics and contribute to pipeline planning.
