Job summary

SCA Health in Lexington, KY is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) in the Operating Room to join our perioperative team. You will promote the organization’s mission while assessing patients and helping develop individualized care plans across the perioperative journey.

Candidates should graduate from an accredited nursing program, hold an active license, and have OR or medical/surgical experience. BLS/ACLS/PALS certifications are required within defined timelines; perioperative certification is

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• 1 year of OR and/or medical/surgical nursing experience preferred.
• Current state nursing licensure in good standing.
• BLS/ACLS/PALS certifications required within specified timelines.
• Perioperative nursing certification is preferred.

We are actively hiring for an Registered Nurse (RN) Operating Room.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• One year of OR and/or medical / surgical nursing experience preferred.
• Current state nursing licensure to practice in good standings.
• Successful completion of Basic Life Support (BLS) within 90 of employment or documentation of current BLS certification.
• Successful completion of Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) Course within 90 days of employment or documentation of current ACLS certification.
• Successful completion of Pediatric Advance Life support (PALS)course is required when pediatric care is included in the facility scope of services within 90 days of employment or documentation of current PALS certification.
• Specialty certification in Perioperative Nursing is preferred.
