Job summary

Mercy is seeking an experienced RN to join our Pediatric ICU team. The unit operates 7p-7a with rotational weekends and holidays, and welcomes experienced RNs or Fall 2026 graduates. We offer sign-on bonuses, education assistance, relocation support, and strong benefits.

Qualifications

• Education: Graduate of an accredited registered nursing program.
• Licensure: Current RN license in hiring state or compact licensure.
• Certifications: Basic Life Support certification (American Heart Association) or completion within 30 days of hire.
• Physical requirements: Ability to push/pull/lift 50 pounds, stand/walk for long periods, and bend/kneel/twist/squat as needed.

Evaluates the overall effectiveness of care provided by other direct care givers. Coordinates the patient care in conjunction with other departments. Position Details:

Accepting experienced RNs or Fall 2026 Graduate Nurses.

Not accepting Spring 2027 Graduate Nurses at this time.

Unit Information: Pediatric ICU 7p-7a, rotational weekends/holidays

Incentives:

Qualifications:

• Education: Graduate of an accredited registered professional nursing program.

• Licensure: Is personally responsible for obtaining, and maintaining, a current RN license within the hiring state and/or compact licensure in which nursing duties are performed and must meet all state board of nursing requirements.

• Certifications: Basic Life Support certification through the American Heart Association or successful completion of course within 30 days of hire.

• Physical requirements/demands:

  • Position requires individuals to push, pull, and/or lift 50 pounds on a regular basis

  • Position requires prolonged standing and walking each shift

  • Position requires the ability to grip, reach, bend, kneel, twist, and squat to perform duties
