Job summary

Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist is seeking experienced registered nurses to join the Surgical Services Float Pool. The role supports Wake region ORs across multiple locations, offering 3x12-hour shifts or 4x10-hour shifts and a full-time schedule with comprehensive benefits.

Requires RN licensure in North Carolina and OR experience; opportunities include extensive education assistance and retirement contributions.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
• Minimum of one year OR experience or participation in a post-graduate program required.
• Three years of experience strongly preferred.

Pay Range: $38.20 - $57.30

In this position, you will support the Wake region ORs (Winston-Salem, Bermuda Run, North Wilkesboro, Elkin, High Point, Lexington). Job Summary : Renders highly professional and technical nursing care to assigned patient. Provides direct patient care using the nursing process (assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation).Directs and supervises other assigned team members and collaborates with multidisciplinary team members to provide age/developmentally appropriate care in accordance with unit standards of care.

What You'll Need:

• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
• Minimum of one year Operating Room experience or participation in a post-graduate program required.
• 3 years of experience strongly preferred.
• Refresher course required for nurses who have not worked in an Operating Room for five years or more.
• Current licensures to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state of North Carolina
• BCLS required.
• CNOR preferred.
