Job summary

Piedmont Columbus Midtown is seeking a Staff Nurse to provide comprehensive nursing care to patients across the lifecycle, applying nursing processes to assess, plan, implement and evaluate care.

The role requires graduation from an accredited nursing program, RN licensure (Georgia state licensure and/or NLC/eNCL Multistate License) and Basic Life Support certification. New graduates are eligible; hospital experience is preferred, especially for PRN positions.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited nursing program (Required).
• Current RN license in Georgia or NLC/eNCL multistate license is required.
• Basic Life Support (BCLS) required.
• New graduates eligible for consideration.
• Nursing experience in a hospital setting is preferred.
• 1 year hospital experience preferred for PRN positions.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to patients across the lifecycle using the nursing process (assess, plan, implement, evaluate).
• Operate within organization policies and procedures and demonstrate professional growth and accountability.
• Coordinate patient care activities of all assigned staff to deliver quality nursing care.

Responsibilities:

The staff nurse provides nursing care to patients from birth through the lifecycle utilizing nursing processes to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate the care for patients. He/she functions within the framework of the policies and procedures of the organization and demonstrates professional growth and accountability. The staff nurse is responsible for maintaining standards of practice, coordinating patient care activities of all assigned staff in the provision of quality nursing care.

Education

Work Experience

Licenses and Certifications
