Job summary

The Registered Nurse Circulator at Baylor Scott & White Surgicare Centennial provides nursing care during surgery cases, positions and preps patients, and circulates the case. Experience in ENT, Gastroenterology, General surgery, Ophthalmology, and colon/rectal surgery is preferred.

The role requires graduation from accredited RN program, active Texas RN license, BLS; ACLS/PALS preferred. At least one year of circulator experience.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited RN School of Nursing.
• Active RN license in the state.
• BLS required, ACLS, PALS preferred.
• A minimum of 1 year experience working as a Circulator.
• Ability to make decisions based on nursing judgment.

Responsibilities

• Position and prep the patient and circulate the case during surgery.
• Provide nursing care across ENT, Gastroenterology, General, Ophthalmology, and colon/rectal surgeries.
• Maintain sterile technique and coordinate with OR team.
