Job summary

Townsen Surgery Center - East Dallas in Mesquite, Texas is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) Operating Room Circulator to join our team. This position requires a valid Texas RN license and BLS/ACLS within 30 days of hire.

You will supervise patient care in the OR, coordinate with surgeons and staff, and ensure safety and compliance with standards. Minimum 5 years of intra-operative experience, ortho/spine experience preferred, and a commitment to high-quality care.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited school of nursing.
• Registered Nurse in Texas; license must remain active.
• BLS and ACLS certifications required within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Develops and updates plan of care with patient and family.
• Assists in operating room setup and patient safety.
• Directs and mentors staff in the OR setting.
• Reports near misses to improve systems and processes.
• Maintains patient privacy and dignity.
• Ensures supplies and equipment are available for procedures.
