Job summary

HiredFirst is seeking an RN – OR Circulator with robotics experience for a 13-week travel contract in Bakersfield, CA. The role supports Da Vinci and Mako robotic procedures, orthopedic and spine surgeries, in a fast-paced operating room.

You will collaborate closely with surgeons, anesthesia teams, and the OR staff to ensure safe, efficient perioperative care, accurate patient assessments, and quality outcomes throughout the surgical continuum.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in CA required.
• BLS and ACLS certifications required.
• 13-week travel contract experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide coordinated nursing care for surgical patients per standards.
• Assess patients before, during, and after procedures.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia, and OR team.
• Maintain sterile surgical environment.
• Educate patients and families on procedures and recovery.
• Assist in discharge planning and care continuity.
• Delegate tasks to surgical team members as needed.
• Monitor outcomes and adjust care plans.
