Job Summary:
  • The Operating Room RN provides nursing care and services during surgery cases.
  • The RN is responsible for positioning the patient, prepping, and circulating during the case.
  • The ideal candidate will focus on excellent customer service, be able to multi-task, show flexibility in assignments, maintain infection control standards, uphold professional competencies, and work as part of a multidisciplinary team.
  • Responsible for supporting surgical patients throughout their inpatient stay, providing basic care needs under the supervision of an RN.
Required Skills:
Education and Experience
  • Graduate of an accredited nursing school.
  • At least two years of OR experience preferred.
  • Current Arizona Nursing License.
  • Current CPR and ACLS certifications.
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize responsibilities.
  • Tactful communication with patients, families, physicians, and staff.
  • Ability to care for adult to geriatric patients.
  • Knowledge of hospital policies and operating room procedures.
  • Proficiency in OR nursing skills and understanding of developmental needs across age groups.
