Job summary

ARMStaffing is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Surgery/Operating Room in Sanford, NC. This 13-week contract involves day shifts with some weekend call requirements and collaboration with the surgical team to ensure patient safety and comfort during procedures.

The RN will provide high-quality care in a surgical setting, monitor patients, administer medications, and document outcomes in the EHR. Active NC license plus ACLS/BLS and CPI/HWC/MAB certifications are required before start.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in North Carolina.
• ACLS, BLS, CPI/HWC/MAB certifications required prior to start.
• Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a surgical or operating room environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist during surgical procedures by managing patient needs and maintaining a sterile environment.
• Monitor and assess patient stability before, during, and after surgical interventions.
• Administer medications and follow established protocols for surgical patients.
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthetists, and surgical support staff to ensure continuity of care.
• Document patient progress and surgical outcomes accurately in the EHR.

Shift: 06:45 AM - 03:15 PM

Weekend Hours: Every other weekend as needed, with call requirements of six shifts per month and one weekend per month.

Job Description

The Registered Nurse in the Surgery/Operating Room will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care within a surgical environment. The RN will work collaboratively with the surgical team to ensure the safety and comfort of patients undergoing surgical procedures of all ages.
