Job summary

Atlas MedStaff is seeking an Operating Room Registered Nurse for a 13-week contract in Marrero, LA. You will cover day shifts from 6:30 AM to 3:00 PM, gaining experience across neuro, ortho, bariatric, vascular, plastics, urology, GYN, robotics and general surgery cases.

You may be on-call and may float to the outpatient surgery center as needed. The assignment includes hospital scrubs, a thorough orientation, and the chance to sharpen skills in a busy, diverse surgical setting in a vibrant

Qualifications

• At least one year of operating room experience; two years preferred.
• Current BLS certification; ACLS preferred.
• Willingness to be on-call and to float to outpatient settings as needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care in the operating room across multiple surgical specialties including neuro, ortho, bariatric, vascular, plastics, urology, GYN, robotics and general surgery.
• Adapt to on-call needs and potential floats to the outpatient surgery center.
• Follow hospital orientation and safety protocols in a fast-paced environment.
