Job summary

Cynet HealthStaff is seeking an experienced RN for the Operating Room in Indiana. This 13-week assignment requires strong OR experience and acute care RN background, with a day shift from 06:30 to 17:00.

Candidates must hold a Registered Nurse license and BLS/ACLS certifications. The RN will assess, plan, implement and evaluate care, supervise staff, and collaborate with the care team to ensure patient safety and quality outcomes during surgical procedures including ortho, general, OB/GYN, eyes

Qualifications

• Two years of acute care RN experience required.
• Active RN license and BLS/ACLS certifications.
• Experience with OR nursing and perioperative care.
• Epic electronic medical record experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess and reassess patient needs per policy; make clinical decisions.
• Develop, implement, and revise the plan of care with the care team.
• Monitor outcomes and document responses to interventions.
• Educate patients and families; ensure safe discharge planning.
• Lead and mentor licensed and non-licensed staff; participate in quality improvements.
