Job summary

ARMStaffing is seeking a Registered Nurse, Operating Room, for a Day Shift assignment in Crestview, FL. This 13-week contract offers four 10-hour shifts from 6:30 AM to 5:00 PM with on-call duties and rotating weekends.

The OR nurse will coordinate with Surgeons, Anesthesiologists, and OR staff to deliver safe patient care in line with state regulations. Minimum 2 years' experience as an OR Circulator is required; ACLS, BLS, and PALS are preferred, robotics experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as an Operating Room Circulator.
• ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications required.
• Robotics experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensure timely setup of operating room and availability of necessary supplies.
• Communicate effectively with patients and families regarding procedures and care.
• Update physician preference cards and assist during surgical cases.
• Supervise and support personnel delivering patient care in the operating room.

Job Description

The Operating Room Nurse will demonstrate critical thinking skills, scientific judgment, and leadership while planning and providing care in the operating room. The RN will work collaboratively with Surgeons, Anesthesiologists, Operating Room Technicians, and other personnel to meet patient care standards per the State Nurse Practice Act and regulatory guidelines.

Required Experience
