Job Title: RN - Operating Room (OR) Charge

Location: Hauppauge, New York

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8-hour shifts (no major holidays, no on-call)

Salary Range: $91,500 - $110,240 per year

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced OR Charge Nurse to lead and support our Surgical Services team in a collaborative, patient-centered environment. This role involves providing leadership, supervision, and guidance to staff, while also delivering direct, individualized nursing care as needed. Our facility has four operating rooms and performs 250-300 surgeries per month.

Responsibilities:

• Provide leadership and support to the Surgical Services team.
• Supervise and guide nursing staff to ensure quality patient care.
• Apply scientific nursing principles in direct patient care as needed.
• Collaborate with surgical teams to maintain a safe and efficient operating room environment.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
• Active New York State RN license.
• At least 1 year of leadership experience.
• 3-5 years of experience in Surgical Services (preferably in an outpatient surgery center).
