Note: RN’s hired into the steady off shift program will be scheduled for either the 1430 pm- 11 pm or the 1030 pm-7 am shift. Both shifts will rotate weekends, call, and holidays as per policy.

Position Overview:

Provides professional perioperative nursing care to patients undergoing operative or invasive procedures.

Essential Responsibilities:

1. Coordinates supplies, instrumentation, and equipment for pre and intraoperative care, ensuring proper functioning. (25%)
2. Performs circulating duties, monitors and communicates patient condition, and manages overall nursing care before, during, and after procedures. (25%)
3. Acts as patient advocate, documents care in compliance with policies and regulations. (25%)
4. Monitors aseptic technique in the surgical environment. (25%)

Qualifications:

Requirements:

• Current RN PA license in good standing
• At least one year of RN experience
• At least one year of OR RN experience
• Preference for current night shift employees on the unit
• Act 34, 33, and 73 background clearances
• Valid PA RN license or multi-state license via eNLC
