The Nursing Team Lead acts as a liaison, resource expert, and consultant to Nursing Service staff during assigned shifts. This role functions as an on-site administrator, facilitating communication among patient care providers, physicians, and support staff. The Team Lead also serves as a customer relations representative for patients, families, and visitors, and communicates with the Leadership Team regarding nursing personnel safety and public relations issues.

Job Requirements:

• Licensed in Ohio as a Registered Nurse
• Potential to take call and work evening hours as needed
• Currently pursuing or holding a BSN
• Minimum of 5 years of OR experience
• Inpatient care experience as required
• Proficient in orthopedic nursing skills and knowledge
• Certified in specialty (CNOR or ONC) within six months of hire
• Return-to-practice nurses after five or more years may need to complete a refresher course
