Trinity Health Urgent Care is seeking nurses for its General Surgery Team within a fast-paced Level 1 Trauma Center. Responsibilities include providing patient assessments, developing care plans, and maintaining effective communication with patients and families. This full-time position offers competitive compensation and a comprehensive benefits package effective from Day One.
The General Surgery Team provides patient-centered care within a fast-paced Level 1 Trauma Center. Types of cases include: Acute Care Surgery, Colorectal, General Surgery, Endocrinology, Urology, Gynecology, and Oncology.
The role will function in both scrub and circulating roles. Shifts involve on-call, weekend, and holiday rotation. When on call, the response time is 30 minutes.
All levels of nurses are encouraged to apply, including new graduates and experienced nurses.
Shifts available: Days and afternoons.
Pay Range: $34.77 - $48.32, depending on experience and licensure date.
REQUIRED EDUCATION AND LICENSURE
REQUIRED SKILLS AND ABILITIES
Knowledge of nursing theory, practice, and age-specific needs. Strong interpersonal skills to maintain collegial relationships and therapeutic relationships with patients and families. Critical thinking skills to perform principal duties and responsibilities. Ability to concentrate and pay close attention to detail when planning and performing professional nursing care.
