Qualifications

Current professional Nursing Licensure in the State of IL required.
BLS/CPR certification for the Healthcare Provider required.
Operating Room experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide perioperative nursing care to surgical patient populations and families.
Utilize the nursing process in planning, implementing and evaluating the patient plan of care.
Guide and direct assigned unlicensed nursing personnel in delivering patient care.

Position Highlights

Position: RN - Operating Room CVI
Location: Glenbrook Hospital, Glenview, IL
Full Time/Part Time: FT, 40hrs/week
Hours: 9a-7:30p 4-10hr shifts, plus an on-call requirement
Required Travel: Potential float to other sites.

What You Will Need

License: Current professional Nursing Licensure in the State of IL required
Education: BSN degree preferred
Certification: BLS/CPR certification for the Healthcare Provider required
Experience: Operating Room experience preferred
Skills: N/A

What You Will Do

Provide perioperative nursing care to surgical patient populations and families
Utilize the nursing process in planning, implementing and evaluating the patient plan of care
Maintain regulatory compliance in individual practice
Assume responsibility, accountability and authority for outcomes of nursing care
Guide and direct assigned unlicensed nursing personnel in delivering patient care
