Job summary

Vibra Travels is seeking an Operating Room OR Registered Nurse (RN) to join our expanding network of healthcare professionals. We’re looking for dependable, detail-focused travelers with OR experience who can assist in life-changing procedures while traveling across the country.

Minimum qualifications include 1 year OR experience, active RN license in the employment state, and ability to travel. ACLS/BLS certifications are required; CNOR may be needed by some clients.

Qualifications

• One year of operating room experience.
• Active RN license in the state of employment.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Ability to travel using public transportation.
• ACLS and BLS certifications required.
• CNOR may be required by the client.
• Excellent critical thinking, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work in high-stress environments and respond quickly in emergencies.
• Proficient in sterile technique and OR protocols.
• Ability to scrub or circulate during procedures.
• Anticipate needs of the surgeon and surgical team.
• Provide handoffs on transfer to recovery.

Responsibilities

• Assist in life-changing procedures while traveling.
• Work with facilities across the country on travel assignments.
• Maintain sterile technique and adherence to OR protocols.
• Serve as scrub or circulating nurse as needed.
• Coordinate with the surgical team to anticipate needs and ensure smooth handoffs.

• Current ACLS and BLS certification from a Vibra Travels-approved vendor required, AHA preferred and required by some clients.
• Other certifications may be required by the client. Ex: CNOR (Certified Perioperative Nurse)

Other Skills Required:
