The RN in the Operating Room at Cleveland Clinic Weston Hospital will manage a variety of complex surgical cases while delivering patient-centered care. This role is ideal for those who excel in assessment and critical-thinking skills and enjoy collaborating with a multidisciplinary team.

You'll provide direct nursing care, coordinate care plans, monitor patient conditions, administer medications, and educate patients and families while supporting efficient discharge planning in a fast-paced OR

Qualifications

• ADN or BSN from an accredited program.
• 1 year of acute care RN experience required.
• BLS certification; ACLS within first year per department requirements.

• Monitor, record, document and communicate patients’ conditions.

What You'll Do

• Provide direct nursing care.

Requirements

Education

• Graduate from an accredited school of Professional Nursing (ADN or BSN program) required.

Experience

• One year of current acute care RN experience OR licensed military RN experience required.
• One year of experience in OR preferred.

Licenses & Certifications

• Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN).
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification required.
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification must be presented upon hire or within the first year of employment based on the department service level RN is hired into.
