Job summary

The Brigitte Harris Cancer Pavilion at Henry Ford Health is seeking a compassionate RN to join the OncoStat clinic, providing same‑day and real‑time care to patients during cancer treatment. This role emphasizes collaboration with the oncology team and timely patient support.

Hours are Monday to Friday, four 8-hour shifts with occasional Saturdays. BSN preferred; Michigan RN licensure and ACLS are required. Join a dedicated team within Henry Ford Medical Group’s CANPAV OncoStat department.

Qualifications

• Current licensure by the Michigan State Board of Nursing.
• ACLS certification required.
• Ability to perform a wide variety of professional nursing services.
• Effective communication with patients, families, and hospital personnel.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and deliver quality compassionate patient care in the OncoStat clinic.
• Utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care and teaching.
• Communicate pertinent patient information to the health care team and collaborate with Advanced Practice Providers.

The Brigitte Harris Cancer Pavilion is seeking a compassionate and skilled RN to join our dedicated team in the OncoStat clinic. As an RN in the OncoStat clinic you will play a key role in providing same-day and real-time care to patients experiencing side effects and symptoms during their treatment journey.

What is the OncoStat clinic?

The OncoStat clinic provides a range of same-day immediate care services to patients experiencing the side effects of cancer treatment. OncoStat's oncology-trained Advanced Practice Providers and Registered Nurses work in close collaboration with your trusted Henry Ford Cancer team.

General Summary

Provides leadership in the coordination and delivery of quality compassionate patient care. Utilizes the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation, to provide, delegate, supervise and document care and teaching of patients and family. Effectively communicates pertinent patient/family information to health care team. Participates in finding solutions for variances from patient goals and ensures implementation of solutions.

Hours

M-F – Four 8 hour shifts and occasion Saturdays.

Education/Experience Required

• BSN preferred.
• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
• Clinical knowledge and analytical abilities necessary to formulate effective nursing care plans.
• Ability to perform a wide variety of professional nursing services.
• Ability to effectively communicate with patients, families, and hospital personnel.

Certifications/Licensures Required

• Current licensure by the Michigan State Board of Nursing.
• ACLS certification required.
