Baptist Health in Downtown Jacksonville seeks a Registered Nurse for its Oncology Progressive Care Unit. You will provide patient-centered care using the nursing process, coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, and play a key role in patients undergoing cellular therapies and stem cell therapies.

Ideal candidates have 1–2 years of nursing experience, oncology preferred, and hold an ASN with RN licensure. BLS is required; ACLS and PALS may be required within specified timeframes.

Formación

• Associate of Science in Nursing is required.
• Registered Nurse (RN) - State Nursing Boards required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) - AHA required.
• ACLS certification within 6 months for the Adult EDs and Free Standing EDs; PALS within 1 year for the Free Standing EDs and within 6 months for WCH ED.
• Driver's License is required.
• 1-2 years Nursing Experience Required Oncology Experience Preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Provides for patient needs as recognized through use of the nursing process (assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation) and the mission statement.
• Organization and supervision of care provided by supportive personnel; coordination of care provided by ancillary services.
• Including patients and significant others in developing an individualized plan of care.
• Education of patients/SO/families to their disease process and plan of care.
• Serves as patient advocate and responsible for providing care to patients requiring treatment of any medical, surgical, or other condition.
