Job summary

Cleveland Clinic Hillcrest Hospital is seeking a PRN RN to provide direct nursing care on the 3 Seidman Oncology/Palliative Unit. You will implement and monitor care plans, coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, and ensure accurate documentation of patient conditions while upholding safety and patient-centered care.

Qualified candidates will hold RN licensure, BLS, and nursing experience; BSN preferred. This flexible role supports varied shifts and emphasizes compassionate, high-quality care.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited school of professional nursing.
• Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN).
• External candidates: two years of recent related nursing experience.
• Internal candidates with less than two years of experience may be considered with CNO level review and approval.
• Licensed military RN experience will be considered.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
• ONS Chemo/Bio course completed within 2 years of employment if chemo is administered on unit.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care.
• Implement and monitor patient care plans.
• Monitor, record and communicate patients’ conditions.
• Serve as a primary coordinator of all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care.
• Note and carry out physician and nursing orders.
• Assess and coordinate patients’ discharge needs.
