OU Health is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) for the Medical Oncology Outpatient Clinic at Stephenson Cancer Center in Tulsa. The role will be filled at Ambulatory RN Level 1 or 2 based on experience and qualifications.

The RN will provide high-quality ambulatory care, support physicians in examinations, manage patient data, administer medications, and participate in care planning and discharge instructions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or associate nursing degree required.
• Licensed RN in OK or as compact state (eNLC).
• BLS certification required upon hire.

Responsabilités

• Aligns behaviors with OU Health values and maintains nursing professional practice standards.
• Assumes responsibility for assigned patients or group of patients.
• Documents patient responses to interventions and changes in orders.
• Assists physicians in exams and minor procedures.
• Monitors patient data and intervenes when necessary.
• Administers medications as prescribed.
• Initiates and monitors IV infusions and blood products.
• Delivers safe, competent patient care.
• Resolves patient complaints with staff support.
• Educates patient/family and shares care plan at discharge.
• May refer patients to appropriate personnel.
• Pursues mentorship and maintains licensure and certification.
• Develops professional goals aligned with enterprise metrics.
• Fosters inclusive workplace and engages in teamwork.
• Delegates tasks to clinical support staff as needed.
