Department: Medical Oncology Clinic/Infusion Center

Location: Marlette, MI

Hours: Full-Time. Days. Full Benefits.

Aspire Rural Health Systems is seeking a full time RN to work in our Medical Oncology Clinic/Infusion Center. We are looking for those with a great attitude to join our dedicated team of healthcare professionals who are constantly striving to provide our patients with the highest quality of services.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • 3-5 years of oncology RN experience (preferred)
  • Degree from an accredited school of nursing (required)
  • Current RN license in MI (required)
  • Current BLS certification
  • Current OCN, Chemotherapy/Biotherapy certification or equivalent (required no later than 3 months of hire date)
  • Excellent computer skills/ability to quickly learn new applications.
  • Professional demeanor and recognition of privacy and consideration for patient and families.
  • Interpersonal skills, supportive, active listener, and effective communicator.
Responsibilities: The primary purpose of this position is to provide professional nursing care within an assigned unit. Coordinates care planning with other disciplines. Oversees the successful delivery of quality patient care. Administers intravenous therapeutic treatments as directed by physician. Observes patient IV treatments and records patient observation in patient medical record.
