Mercy in Edmond, OK seeks an experienced Registered Nurse to provide direct patient care using the nursing process, while maintaining patient rights and confidentiality. You will coordinate with other departments to ensure high-quality care and evaluate the effectiveness of care delivered by the care team.

The role requires RN licensure, ACLS/BLS certifications, and the ability to perform physical tasks including lifting.

Qualifications

• Must be a graduate of an accredited registered nurse program.
• Maintain current RN license in the hiring state and/or compact licensure.
• Meet all state board of nursing requirements.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds and perform physical tasks as required.
• ACLS and BLS certifications required or obtained within specified timeframe.

Qualifications:

• Education: Graduate of an accredited registered professional nursing program

• Licensure: Is personally responsible for obtaining, and maintaining, a current RN license within the hiring state and/or compact licensure in which nursing duties are performed and must meet all state board of nursing requirements.

• Physical requirements/demands: Position requires individuals to push, pull, and/or lift 50 pounds on a regular basis. Position requires prolonged standing and walking each shift. Position requires the ability to grip, reach, bend, kneel, twist, and squat to perform duties

• Certifications:

  • ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support)

  • BLS (Basic Life Support) or successful completion of course within 30 days of hire

  • Other unit specific certifications as required or acquisition of certification within department required timeframe.
