Job summary

Mercy is seeking an experienced registered nurse to provide compassionate patient care using the nursing process. You will coordinate care with other departments, ensure patient rights and confidentiality, and uphold Mercy Service Standards while delivering high-quality care from day one.

Qualified candidates will hold an accredited nursing degree and an RN license in the hiring state or a compact licensure, with ACLS and BLS certifications and unit-specific credentials as required.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited registered professional nursing program.
• Current RN license in the hiring state and/or compact licensure; must meet state board requirements.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care using the nursing process.

Qualifications:

• Education: Graduate of an accredited registered professional nursing program

• Licensure: Is personally responsible for obtaining, and maintaining, a current RN license within the hiring state and/or compact licensure in which nursing duties are performed and must meet all state board of nursing requirements.

• Physical requirements/demands: Position requires individuals to push, pull, and/or lift 50 pounds on a regular basis. Position requires prolonged standing and walking each shift. Position requires the ability to grip, reach, bend, kneel, twist, and squat to perform duties

• Certifications:

  • ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support)

  • BLS (Basic Life Support) or successful completion of course within 30 days of hire

  • Other unit specific certifications as required or acquisition of certification within department required timeframe.
