Job summary

Speare Memorial Hospital in Plymouth, NH is seeking a Registered Nurse in the Oncology department to provide compassionate, evidence-based cancer care in a community hospital setting.

You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement patient care plans, evaluate progress, and ensure safety and comfort for patients and families. A NH RN license and BLS are required; a BSN is preferred, with prior hospital experience encouraged.

Qualifications

• Associates Degree or Diploma in Nursing.
• Must be a licensed Registered Nurse in the State of New Hampshire.
• Current BLS certification (adult, child, and infant).
• Preferred: Bachelor of Nursing.
• Previous hospital experience in a hospital setting serving the same age/type of patient population.

Responsibilities

• Deliver nursing care per NH scope and hospital policy; make independent judgments and seek guidance as needed.
• Develop and implement a care plan within 24 hours of admission; set measurable outcomes and evaluate progress each shift.
• Lead and delegate care to LPNs, LNAs, EMTs and other staff to ensure safe, efficient care.
• Collaborate with the patient care team to support safety and patient rights.
