Job summary

Bellin Health in Wisconsin is seeking a dedicated registered nurse for our Oconto/Marinette area. The role focuses on delivering high-quality nursing care across surgical services with emphasis on collaboration within a multidisciplinary team and adherence to professional standards.

This is a part-time position (0.5 FTE, 20 hours/week) with shift times starting early morning to evening, based in Green Bay area facilities.

Qualifications

• Wisconsin RN license required.
• Minimum of 1 year RN experience preferably in a hospital setting required.
• ACLS required within six months of hire.
• Surgery or Periop experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide quality professional nursing care to patients and families complying with state nursing practice acts and Bellin Health policies.
• Collaborate with the multidisciplinary health care team to ensure the best patient outcomes.
• Maintain a safe environment for patients, families, staff and visitors.

Job Specifics:

The Oconto/Marinette Surgery Department specializes in general, orthopedic, cardiac, neurosurgery, gynecological, urological, and ENT surgeries.

Location: 2820 Roosevelt Road, Marinette, WI 54153 and 820 Arbutus Avenue, Oconto, WI 54153
FTE Status: Part-Time, 0.5 FTE (20 hours/week)
Work Schedule: Various days with shift times starting between 5:0 am and 6:00 pm.

Job Description:

Responsible and accountable for providing quality professional nursing care to patients and their families and significant others adhering to the WI Nurse Practice Act, Administrative Code of the WI Board of Nursing, and/or appropriate nursing standards governing nursing in the state of practice, the ANA Nursing Scope and Standards of Practice, the ANA Code of Ethics for Nurses and Bellin Health Policies and Procedures. The responsibility includes providing a safe environment for patients, families, staff, and visitors and working collaboratively with the multi-disciplinary health care team to provide the best outcomes for the patient. Community involvement and collaboration are encouraged.

Qualifications:

• Wisconsin RN license required .
• Minimum of 1 year RN experience preferably in a hospital setting required.
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) required within six months of hire.
• Surgery or Periop experience preferred.
