Job summary

Bellin Health’s Emplify Health unit invites an RN to join a 17-bed surgical team delivering a wide range of procedures with a focus on compassionate, patient-centered care.

You will work with surgeons, nurses, and support staff to maintain safety, quality, and family-centered care in a busy perioperative environment. Wisconsin RN licensure is required, with opportunities for new grads to apply and grow within a supportive system.

Job Specifics:

Our 17-bed surgical unit is a specialized department within the hospital that provides a broad spectrum of surgical procedures. These include general surgeries such as bowel resections, mastectomies, amputations, colostomies, thyroidectomies, and hernia repairs; urological surgeries like urostomies, prostatectomies, nephrectomies, and continuous bladder irrigations; as well as ENT, vascular, and gynecological surgeries. All surgeries, except for orthopedic and cardiac, are performed on this floor. Our committed team of surgeons, nurses, and support staff collaborate closely to deliver the highest standard of care to our patients.

• Location: 744 S. Webster Ave., Green Bay, WI 54301
• FTE Status: Full-Time, 0.8 - 1.0 FTE available (32-40 hours/week). Let us know what works for you!
• Work Schedule: A variety of shifts available including Day/Night, Day/PM, or PM/Night rotations. A weekend rotation included as well (every other or every third).
• Shifts: 8 hours, 12 hours, or a mix of both

Job Description:

The Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible and accountable for providing quality professional nursing care to patients and their families and significant others adhering to the WI Nurse Practice Act, Administrative Code of the WI Board of Nursing, and/or appropriate nursing standards governing nursing in the state of practice, the ANA Nursing Scope and Standards of Practice, the ANA Code of Ethics for Nurses and Bellin Health Policies and Procedures. The responsibility includes providing a safe environment for patients, families, staff, and visitors and working collaboratively with the multi-disciplinary health care team to provide the best outcomes for the patient. Community involvement and collaboration is encouraged.
