Job summary

Endeavor Health is seeking an RN for Occupational Health at our Elmhurst location. This full-time role (40 hours) runs Monday–Friday, 8am–5pm, with required travel. You will assess and triage patients by phone, guide care per protocols, and support on-site procedures and immunizations. A state RN license and CPR/BLS are required.

The position emphasizes bedside nursing, EMR communication, and coordinating urgent and routine visits within a busy ambulatory setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Science - preferred
• Registered Nurse license as required by Illinois IDFPR
• CPR/BLS certification required

Responsibilities

• Reviews patient voicemails and talks directly to patients by telephone or MyChart and directs to appropriate level of care per protocol
• Conducts telephone assessment using nursing skills and determines patient needs, teaching back for understanding, and communicates with clinical staff via telephone or EMR
• Directs high-risk patients (e.g., chest pain, abdominal pain, severe headache) to emergency department
• Arranges appointments for patients needing physician visit
• Assists with patient exams, prepares rooms, and records vital signs and data
• Performs immunizations and supports office procedures (colposcopy, LEEP, ESSURE, ablation, venipuncture, etc.)
