Position Type: Per Diem, mostly 1p-5p, Day shift

Position Summary

This position encompasses the nursing components of the Occupational Health department.

Primary Responsibilities

1. Pre-placement exams on new hires.
2. Care of injured/ill patients.
3. Vaccination, immunization, and TB program management.
4. Body Substance Exposure management.
5. Training and education of staff and patients.
6. Breath alcohol testing and urine drug screening.
7. Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Minimum Education

• Required: High School Diploma or Equivalent, LPN
• Preferred: Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing

Experience

• Minimum: 1 year
• Preferred: Experience in Occupational Health

Licenses/Certifications

• Required: Current NJ LPN or RN license
• Preferred: Breath Alcohol Technician (BAT), Urine Drug Screening (UDS), CPR certifications (must obtain within six months if not certified)

Skills and Abilities

• Required: Computer skills
• Preferred: Titmus eye screening, venipuncture, electrocardiogram, spirometry, audiometric tests, respirator fit tests
