PositionSummary
This position encompasses the nursing components of the Occupational Health department.
Primary Position Responsibilities
1. Pre-placement exams on new hires.
2. Care of injured/ill patients.
3. Vaccination/immunization/TB program.
4. Body Substance Exposure management.
5. Training and education of staff, patients.
6. Breath alcohol testing and urine drug screening
7. Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Minimum Education:
Required:
â— High School Diploma or Equivalent
â— LPN
Preferred:
Bachelor’s Degree in nursing
Minimum Years of Experience (Amount, Type and Variation):
Required:
1 year
Preferred:
Experience in Occupational Health
License, Registry or Certification :
Required:
Current NJ LPN or RN license required.
Preferred:
Breath Alcohol Technician (BAT) Certification and Urine Drug Screening (UDS) certification preferred. CPR certification is preferred. If not certified, certification must be obtained within six months of hire. Courses will be provided by HHS.
