Job summary

Lexington Health is seeking a registered nurse for the Observation Unit in West Columbia, SC, to provide patient-centered care 7A-7P. You will use the nursing process, collaborate with physicians and a multidisciplinary team, and support patients and families throughout the care continuum.

Minimum education includes ADN, diploma or BSN with an active SC RN license. Early-career nurses who completed LMC residency may qualify. A $20,000 sign-on bonus is offered to eligible applicants.

Qualifications

• Minimum Education: ADN, Diploma or BSN.
• Current SC RN license to practice.
• New graduate RN’s who acquire their basic RN education through online programs will not meet minimum qualifications.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes the nursing process to promote and restore patient health.
• Collaborates with physicians and multidisciplinary team members.
• Provides physical and psychological support to patients and families.
• Supervises assigned team members.
• Maintains patient confidentiality and adheres to ethical standards.
• Documents patient care activities accurately and timely.

Education

ADN, Diploma or Bachelors of Science in Nursing

Current RN license to practice in South Carolina
