Job summary

Lexington Medical Center in West Columbia, SC is seeking an experienced RN for the Critical Care Unit night shift (7pm–7:30am). You will apply the nursing process to promote health and collaborate with physicians and a multidisciplinary team to support patients and families.

Active SC RN license and a nursing degree (ADN/ Diploma/ BSN) are required; new grads may qualify via LMC Nurse Residency. Lexing ton Medical Center offers a $10,000 sign-on bonus and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

Current RN license to practice in the State of South Carolina.
New graduate RNs from online programs will not meet LMC minimum qualifications.
Critical Care, Med/Surg, Intermediate and ED units require post-graduation experience unless part of LMC Nurse Residency.
Substitutable education & experience: None.
Mandatory certification requirements per LMC P&P for various nursing specialties.

Responsibilities

Utilizes the nursing process to promote and restore patient health; collaborates with physicians and multidisciplinary team members; provides physical and psychological support to patients and families.
Supervises assigned team members and maintains patient care documentation.
Maintains patient confidentiality and adheres to ethical standards and infection-control policies.
