Job summary

Lee Health is seeking a compassionate Registered Nurse for the Observation Progressive Care Unit (PCU) at Cape Coral Hospital. The role delivers and documents patient care using the nursing process, with emphasis on assessment, planning, and evaluation.

Responsibilities include coordinating care with multidisciplinary teams, applying ANA standards and the Florida Nurse Practice Act, and supporting quality outcomes through patient-focused care and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing required; Associates or Bachelors preferred.
• Current Florida RN license.
• American Heart Association BLS certification, valid for at least 90 days after hire date.

Responsibilities

• Deliver and document patient care using the nursing process of assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
• Coordinate nursing care with other disciplines to ensure effective and efficient patient outcomes.
• Adhere to ANA standards and Florida Nurse Practice Act; provide culturally competent care.
