Job summary

Saint Joseph Hospital - Mount Sterling is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to deliver compassionate, high-quality care in a fast-paced setting. You will conduct thorough assessments, implement care plans, and collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to optimize patient outcomes.

The role requires acute critical thinking, strong assessment skills, and a patient-first mindset. Eligible for a sign-on bonus up to $10,000 and up to $24,000 in student loan assistance.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited nursing program is required.
• Current Registered Nurse license for KY, upon hire.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification upon hire.
• ACLS certification within 90 days of hire.
• Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Assess and analyze patient conditions; determine need for standard, urgent or emergent interventions.
• Implement and modify care plans based on assessments and evidence-based practice.
• Coordinate care with the interdisciplinary team and educate patients and families.
• Uphold patient autonomy, dignity and rights in every interaction.
• Administer medications, IV therapies, and treatments per policy.
• Evaluate progress toward patient outcomes and adjust care as needed.
