Job summary

Assessment, planning, implementing, evaluation and supervising care of patients in all areas, including teaching and discharge relief as needed, adhering to standards of care and facility policies.

Education: Graduate of accredited school of nursing with ADN or BSN. Experience: minimum 6 months–1 year medical surgical hospital experience; OB experience preferred. License: current NYS RN. Training: BLS, ACLS, NRP, and EFM within 6 months; obstetrics and EFM certification preferred.

Qualifications

• Nurse must provide direct patient care across units.
• Ability to teach patients and families.
• Coordinate care with healthcare team.
